Jacqui is a Northern Virginia native, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Although she is slowly making herself known to the world through her music, she is not new to the singing arena. Jacqui has performed and traveled with R&B mainstream and corporate bands for many years. Since the age of nine, she has known that singing is a gift that is truly a part of her inner peace, daily walk of life, her passion and her purpose.
With the new release of her 2nd CD, Soliloquy, Jacqui is displaying more than just her powerful vocals. Her lyrics are moving, uplifting and relatable to all who listen. Soliloquy is a soulful mixture of R&B, Neo-Soul and Inspirational. As she describes it, “Soliloquy has a song for everyone! It’s about moving things in and out of your life and recognizing who is always there to give you that joy, that peace of mind and the desires of your heart.”
Jacqui is one you cannot put a label on. She says, “Music is music all over the world. Who doesn’t love it, especially when it touches and relates to your soul? I'm very excited about Soliloquy and I'm hoping that my audience will be too."
Soliloquy is about expression, inspiration and a little motivation. It’s about having fun and taking things to that next level. Quiet reflection; moving things around and in and out of your life. It’s about different feels, different feelings; past and present. It’s about us, our spiritual self, understanding where we are right now and where we want to be. Working it out, whatever “it” may be, reaching out, trusting, listening and remembering. Ask yourself…What do you treasure and what are you willing to leave behind? What do you see when you finally open your eyes? Soliloquy is about recognizing who is always there to give you that joy, that peace of mind and the desires of your heart.
