Karun is a Kenyan musician with influences ranging from Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, Erykah Badu and James Blake.
Karun came back with a new sound in 2018 after releasing an aesthetically pleasing debut music video ‘Roses’ with Ukweli, following the audio release of ‘Make Believe’ which featured the much sought after Blinky Bill.
Formally known as Miss Karun of the BET nominated hiphop group Camp Mulla, Karun is no newcomer to the pan-African music industry, and has numerous Award nominations under her belt, from the MOBO’S UK to the MTV AMA’S hosted in Jo’burg SA and more.
In 2019, she was named by Forbes Africa among the top 30 under 30 creatives.
