Every two years, ASCAP holds elections for the Board of Directors, in accordance with Article IV, Section 4 of our Articles of Association, our member-ratified governing document. All writer and publisher members with performance credits in the past year are eligible to vote.

ASCAP President and award-winning songwriter Paul Williams has been announced as a keynote speaker at Midem, the international music business conference set to take place in Cannes, France from June 5th - 8th of 2015. Williams will speak about the social and economic value of music in the digital age.
On November 10th, ASCAP singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson played an intimate set for a room full of music biz notables at The Village Studios in Los Angeles. The event was a fundraiser for the Guild of Music Supervisors, and a celebration of Michaelson's gold single "Girls Chase Boys." ASCAP proudly co-presented the event.
