Tears Will Set You Free - Alice Pisano

We say

Last year, we introduced you to the silky voice of Italian-born London-based singer-songwriter Alice Pisano and her gorgeous acoustic pop tracks, All The Little Things and Stay, from her Celebrate Life EP. Released with no label or backing, the EP picked up support from BBC Radio London, BBC Introducing, National Dutch Radio NPO Radio 2, as well as numerous online tastemakers (including Atwood Magazine) and editorial playlist spots on Spotify (New Music Friday UK, Soft Pop Hits, Mellow Morning). Now back with this, her first new music since that release, Alice reveals a poppier feel to her music with vibrant splashes of pop production blending effortlessly with her rich instrumentation and heartfelt lyricism. Co-written with Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Matt Ingram and produced by Troy Miller (Emeli Sandé, Jamie Cullum), Tears Will Set You Free is a gorgeous listen. This is another beautiful release from the young artist, showing off her powerful vocal performance with aplomb and marking her out as a natural talent to keep an eye on in 2020.
