House Party is proud to announce the 2017 summer release of their debut album. Their catchy original material features Christina Langen's strong vocal range and House Party's own blend of Retro styled Rhythm and Blues Rock.

When musical performers / producers, Johnny Lewis (guitar/keys/vocals) and Candi Langen (drums/guitar/vocals) met for the first time, it was like a reunion between two life long friends that blossomed quickly into a destined romance.

A few short weeks later, along with Candi’s then thirteen year old daughter Christina (vocals/keys/sax), this new family alliance began their musical journey together by writing, recording and producing a series of local commercial jingles for radio and television in Northeast Ohio.

The foundation was laid and House Party was born. They began performing as a three piece group at various small venues and private parties. By 2015, House Party was booking larger venues, such as Clay’s Park Resort and recruited local veteran musician to complete their sound. This led to House Party's debut album that includes a rich mix of retro power pop / rock that also show their influences from other genres including country and R&B.

House Party's retro styled groove has gained an enthusiastic fan base and inspired the original songs for their debut album. House Party has a distribution / publishing deal with CD Baby and is very excited to bring their own brand of retro groove rock to an expanding legion of fans. The album and singles will be available for digital download on Amazon.com, i-Tunes and other major online retailers, as well as most streaming music sites.

My new music video for “Above The Clouds" is released worldwide right now!   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27Huz6jHTXE   I'm in a summer mood. The response to my new summer pop song “Above the Clouds” has been overwhelming both in terms of fan response as well as reviews. I hope the new music video adds to that enthusiasm. This cool summer pop song music video was so much fun to make. As a young boy, I always wanted to be an airline pilot and fly up in the clouds so given the nature of this song, I just had to have me up there in a single propeller airplane flying up above the clouds. The story is still the focus but with aspirations to make this my top song in 2017, I added a bunch of musical scenes of me singing, some guitar playing, drums and even backup female vocalists since that’s what the big placements want in their music videos. But there’s still a central theme and that is that no matter how bad a day you’re having, it’s always sunny above the clouds. There is always hope! Plz don’t ever forget that! My #1 goal in 2017 is to get this song to the Top 25 on the DRT charts in the United States. That goal seems like it might become a reality if my fans continue to push the song. The lyric video has received over 85,000 views in 10 days which is by far the most of any lyric video I've ever released. So here we go. Let’s see what the music video does!
